Personally, I like movies about World War II like Life is Beautiful, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gates etc. If there were museums about World War II wherever I traveled to, I tried to visit them. Recently, Los Angeles just have a new Holocaust Museum. Since the story about Holocaust can be found from the other websites (and probably you already knew about it.) So I won't talk too much abouth the history of Holocaust, but about the architecture and exhibitions inside.

The museum is located adjacent to a public park and existing Holocaust Monument. According to the architect's website, paramount to the design strategy of the building is the integration of the building into the surrounding open, park landscape. The museum is submerged into the ground allowing the park's landscape to continue over the roof of the structure.

The entry ramp down to the main entrance

Upon entering, visitors experience the culmination of their transition from a playful and unrestrained, public park atmosphere to a series of isolated spaces saturated with photographic archival imagery. (qouted from architect's website)
